This is a work in Progress.  Check back often!

General Thoughts

When on slopes, skis and board are natural 6 feet distance makers; front to back.  Face Coverings are required inside, in lift lines and on lifts.

WINTER PARK

LIFT LINES

We ask guests to please maintain a minimum of 6 feet of distance between parties while waiting in lift lines. To help maintain distance, we will also be adjusting lift mazes for the upcoming season. Guests will need to wear a face covering while waiting in line, loading, riding, and unloading lifts. We will be modifying lift loading procedures to encourage social distancing while riding the lift and will share further details as soon as they’re available.

DINING

We are still working through what our dining options will look like this winter. We are planning to have locations open and will implement new procedures to reduce contact. Our dining locations will have expanded grab and go options as well. Unfortunately, at this time we will not be able to offer Sunspot Mountaintop Après or Sunspot Mountaintop Dinners this season.

There will likely be other modifications to our indoor dining locations to limit capacity, and we will share updates as they become available. We are exploring options to help maintain our guests' comfort with indoor spaces, but there will likely be modifications to these spaces that may mean more time outdoors for our guests.

BOYNE

Boyne Mountain Resort commits to operating for 130 days during the 20/21 season. We are very optimistic that we can accommodate both season passholders and day skiers safely on the slopes. All guests must wear face coverings in indoor common areas; employees are required to wear face coverings at all times. We continue to work each day towards initiatives and protocols to provide you with the safest possible vacation and recreational experiences.

NUBS NOB

As skiers and riders we are all wondering what winter will look like during the age of COVID-19. Things can change quickly, but here is what we know right now:

  • Skiing and riding will be allowed at Nub's Nob.

  • We do not plan to limit season pass sales.

  • We do not plan to have reservations for skiing.

  • Face masks will be required on chairlifts and indoor spaces.

  • Indoor spaces will be restricted or possibly unavailable.

  • Most events will need to be altered and some may not happen.

In preparation for the upcoming ski season the Nub’s Crew focused on improvements to the outdoor spaces:

  • We repainted the exterior of all the buildings.

  • Repaved the parking lot and entrance road.

  • Expanded the Winter Garden- adding a food truck style venue, more seating and a fire pit.

  • Created an outdoor pick-up window off the Nub’s Pub for slope-side food and drink.

  • Improved the skiing on Valley by taking down the Blue Lift, removing trees, relocating snow making equipment and widened the slope with extensive earthwork.
