If you are an outdoor enthusiast then the Battle Creek Ski Club is for YOU. We are a West Michigan ski club that enjoys downhill skiing, boarding, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, kayaking/canoeing/rafting, camping, bicycling, hiking, and golfing.   We enjoy other community activities that bring members and people together for fun times.  We offer day bus trip to Northern Michigan resorts, a weekend trip to Boyne Highlands, and coordinate and sponsor out-west ski trips (including the annual Winter Park Colorado Train / Ski Spring Break Trip).  We are a civic minded, family-oriented club always looking for new members.

The Club is located in Battle Creek, Michigan and serves the greater Battle Creek, Kalamazoo and Southwest Michigan areas. We have members from quite a few other states who like to join us on our fun trips.

The founding members established the club's charter in 1954. Today, we have over 200 current club members, and have expanded our club's activities to all four seasons. The board of directors adopted a club slogan a few years after, to reflect the club’s beginnings.  

 

Hence the slogan "Going downhill since 1954" was born.
