The Club's General Meeting always start with a Social Time beginning at 6:30pm with the meeting starting promptly at 7pm.

PRESENTATION:

Are you feeling lucky or skilled?  How to avoid ski/board injuries and have a better chance at staying safe and upright this coming season.

Dr. Stacy Majoras will be coming to Millers Time Out to speak with us about ski injuries and safety.  Dr. Majoras is a Physician with Western Michigan University’s medical program and specializes in Sports Medicine.  She is the team physician for WMU Athletics (and others).  She is open to taking questions and addressing topics of interest to members.

PRESENTATION:

"Share and Swap" Event: Do you have some equipment you’re not using but someone else could?  If you have some to donate to a fellow club member or local skier who could use it (I will take it to a high school ski club for donation), please bring it.  AND/OR bring a SKI STORY to share.  There will be a signup for members to BRIEFLY (3 minute maximum) a funny, endearing or meaningful story of their ski history or of club events.  Come hear nostialgia come to life.

PRESENTATION:

"Romances and Dances".  There have been many couples that have met and stayed together through this ski club.  Come hear the stories.  Also, stay tuned for our entertainment announcement for this evening.

March 14, 2023 - General Meeting 

We will recap and share great stories of the trips in February.

PRESENTATION:

The American Heart Association was founded in 1924 by six cardiologists.  Today, they would be amazed.  This volunteer organization, one of the nation’s oldest and largest, is dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke.  Striving to save and improve lives.  Heart disease is the No. 1 killer worldwide, and strokes rank 2nd globally.

Come listen and learn from our guest presenter, American Heart Association Kalamazoo Director, Logann Poley, on a broad variety of cardiovascular health matters.  Learn about the signs and symptoms to seek medical attention, in addition to risk factors.  The F.A.S.T. program, which stands for First, Aid, Severe, Trauma, will also be discussed.
